Overwriting Data

ISF Transaction import can be configured to overwrite data on an existing Security Filing when importing from another system. The user may choose whether overwrite should happen if:
  • The original Security Filing has been transmitted to CBP.
  • The original Security Filing has not been transmitted.
If a full replace is not desired, indicate that the newly imported data should be appended instead.
When either occurs, the status of the Security Filing becomes “TRANSMITTED” and appears on the “Security Filings Awaiting Response” portlet of the “Dashboard” screen for identification until a CBP reply arrives.
