Locating a Party via Filter

Some client companies may have a large number of parties within their ONESOURCE ISF database. In these cases, there may be too many records in the “Parties” grid to immediately see which party needs to be reviewed or modified. Like many other screens across all ONESOURCE platforms, the “Parties” screen can be filtered to display only parties that match specific search criteria.
To
filter
the party list by a specific Party Type,
choose
a party type from the “Filter By Party Type” drop-down above the grid.
Once a party type has been selected, the parties shown in the “Party Listing” will be only those associated with the selected party type. If a party is associated to more than one party type, the party will show in each party listing for each particular party type.
If further filters need to be applied to find a party, a series of filter fields are available beneath the column headers.
Choose
a column to filter and
enter
a value in the filter field. Once the value has been entered,
click
the filter button to the right.
A series of filter options will appear for the column. Filter options may vary depending on column type (alphanumeric, date, numeric, etc.).
Choose
a filter option.
The “Parties” grid will refresh to show only those parties that match the filter criteria. Multiple filters can be applied at a time to further narrow down results.
