Create New Action

Once the Bonded Move is authorized, the shipment can depart from the origin facility. Upon arrival to the destination port, the Bonded Moves must be reported as
arrived
. This function is accomplished via the
Action
 message that is transmitted to Customs.
The Action record is transmitted when reporting the arrival or export of Bonded Moves and when transferring the liability of Bonded Moves. From the
Bonded Movement Summary
 screen, click
New
 Action.
Clicking
New Action
 will open the
Action
 screen.
When working with for goods imported by air, only Action Codes 1, 2, 5, and 6 are available.

Description
Bonded Move Number
Choose the Bonded Move Number from a drop-down selection or enter the Bonded Move Number in the open field.
Issuer of Master Bill (SCAC)
Choose the SCAC from the drop-down.
Master Bill
Enter the Master Bill Number.
Container
Enter the Container Number.
Action Date
Format: MM/DD/YYYY
Action Time
Format: HHMM
Carrier
Choose a carrier from the drop-down. The carrier must exist in the
Company Partners
 Maintenance table.
Port Code
Use this drop-down to choose the US Port Code where the arrival is taking place. The port must exist in the
Port Codes
 Maintenance table.
Carrier ID
Enter the Carrier EIN Number or IRS Number.
City of Liability Transfer
If transmitting a transfer of liability, enter the city name where the liability is being transferred.
State of Liability Transfer
Choose the state where the liability is being transferred.
Export MOT
Use this drop-down to choose a Mode of Transport. This field is optional but must be entered if
Export Conveyance
 is also entered. With ACE, only vessel Mode of Transport is accepted as Export MOT.
For non-vessel exports, leave
Export MOT
 and
Export Conveyance
 blank.
Export Conveyance
Enter the name of the conveyance used in the export of the goods. This field is optional but must be entered if
Export MOT
 is also entered.
Required fields vary by action taken.
