Batch processing binder tasks
In step 2 of batch processing, you can select from the following binder tasks.
Binder tasks: Compute
You can save time using batch compute to compute all your binders at once when you've completed entering your data.
Binder tasks: Import
Use batch importing into multiple binders.
You can import the following balances:
- Preliminary balances
- Adjustment amounts
- Schedule M-2 detail
- Schedule M-3 detail
- Exchange rates by account
- State apportionment factor data
- State TI modifications and apportioned income adjustments
- State TI state tax expense
- Tax payments
- 1120L workpaper data
- 1120L prior year DAC data
- International data
Binder tasks: Copy
Save time by copying data to your binders all at once.
- SelectCopy.
- Select the data you want to copy.
- SelectSubmit.
Binder tasks: Print foreign entity forms
Save time by printing foreign entity forms for binders all at once.
Batch printing
Foreign Entity Forms
is available for tax years 2013 and later for foreign entities other than eliminations. The feature uses the existing tax application Print Preview files (PRW) to build the PDF. If a Print Preview file does not exist for a selected entity, the entity will be omitted from the PDF. Any form or statement within the existing Print Preview files for the selected foreign entities will be included in the PDF. Batch Print will not filter forms outside the stated list if present in the Print Preview file.Some batch processes (such as Import or State Options) allow only a single binder selection per entity to be included in a binder group. However, Batch Print of Foreign Entity Forms permits a binder group to have multiple binders per entity to facilitate short year processing. The multi column in the Choose Binder Group screen will have a “Y” when a group contains multiple binders for one or more entities.
