Import entity and binder information from a spreadsheet
With Tools, Entity Import, you can:
- Create several entities at once.
- Create 1 binder for each entity.
- Create a workarea.
note
Binders created during the entity import process aren't counte toward the number of return paks used until the binder's opened. You can go to

, Account Info
to learn how many return paks have been purchased and used.Before you begin:Prepare your source file to import new entities.
- Go toTools,Admin Tools, and thenEntity Import.
- Select an existing workarea or create a new one.
- Select your import file, thenNext.
- Select a template or create a new one.
- Identify and map the data. Make sure to specify the correct starting row if the spreadsheet file contains a header row, and thenSave.
- SelectImport. If any errors are found, you can selectPreviousto go back and fix, then try re-importing.
