Disaster recovery testing for Enterprise Cloud (EC)
Disaster recovery (DR) testing helps us evaluate our recovery plan in a controlled environment. This ensures we can restore data and products/services and continue operations after a disruption.
The system status page gets updated to reflect testing in progress and when it's completed.
note
These details should be shared with your IT professional or technology department.
2026 DR testing
Testing begins Saturday, August 22 at 12:01 AM CDT and ends Saturday, August 22 at 6:00 AM CDT. This total maintenance window is 6 hours.
Because the maintenance window is limited to 6 hours, we recommend completing any known configuration updates before the DR activity begins or after it ends.
What's not available during testing?
ONESOURCE Determination's user interface (UI) won't be accessible starting from 12:01 AM. As a result, these features won't be available until testing is complete.
- ONESOURCE Indirect Tax screens. You can sign in to the ONESOURCE Platform, but Determination won't open when you select ONESOURCE Indirect Tax. There's no error message.
- Certificate Manager.
- Data File Integrator (DFI).
- Reports & Analytics - You may experience delays of up to 10 hours for the ETL process to complete after DR testing.
Tax calculation service
You can access the tax calculation services during the testing window. You won't be able to access the user interface (UI) or the reporting during the testing window.
Tax requests and responses will continue to process by Determination throughout the maintenance window.
- ONESOURCE Determination in AWS AMER & AWS EMEA will continue as normal.
- ONESOURCE Determination in OCI AMER will continue to operate with minor impact on latency.
Configuration updates and audit transactions
During maintenance, we won't sync content and configuration updates to your DA instances. Your instances will continue operating on their most recently synced configuration.
Audit transaction synchronization will continue normally, but Reports & Analytics will show this data with approximately a 10-hour delay.
