Change Filing Frequency

When you add a return to the Returns Register, the commonly used filing frequency becomes the default for that return.
The user can change the frequency at any point of time, from the
Return Register
 screen. The allowed frequencies are MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, SEMI-ANNUAL, and ANNUAL.
Steps
  1. Go to the
    Returns Register
     of an Entity (Entity Configuration Step 2 for Returns Register).
  2. Review the existing filing frequency for the target return (Filter by State).
  3. Select the checkbox for the returns that need an update.
  4. Select
    Update
     to change the frequency from the pop-up window.
  5. For the audit trail for any return, select
    View History
     action on that return. The Return History shows any changes you make to the filing frequency of a return in reverse chronological order.
