Assess service charges

  1. Select
    Actions
    , then
    Assess Service Charges
    .
    note
    The
    Assess Service Charges
    screen is available only if you have security privileges for service charge data.
  2. Enter a
    Calculate Service Charges through
    date.
    note
    • Practice CS calculates all service charges according to the rates your firm has set up.
    • To print the items shown on the screen, select
      Journal
      .
  3. Use the
    Filter
    dropdown list to narrow the list of service charges, or select
    More
    d to create your own filter.
  4. Mark the checkbox for each service charge to assess.
  5. Select
    Post Selected
    .

    The
    Assess Service Charges
    screen is a user-defined terminology screen. Your firm may refer to the screen by a different name. To display the default names for user-defined items, select
    Help
    , then
    Enable Default Terminology
    (or press
    Ctrl+Shift+H
    ).
    If you have security privileges, you can replace the service charge amounts that Practice CS calculates. Replaced amounts will appear in red. To replace a service charge, edit the amount in the Service Charge column, and then post your changes.
