TicTie Calculate bookmarking and repagination

The following video outlines the bookmarking and repagination features in
TicTie Calculate
. This feature enables you to add bookmarks to a PDF, then repaginate the document to reorder the pages to match the bookmark tree. Refer to our How to Check Your Version article for information on
TicTie Calculate

  1. Open your
    TicTie Calculate
    tools menu in Adobe.
  2. Select the
    Bookmarks
    tool.
  3. Select
    Use Bookmark Template
    .
  4. You may want to move the Set Bookmark Template window to another monitor to more easily view the PDF pages displayed in Adobe.
  5. Select
    Toggle Bookmarks Pane
    to open or close the Bookmarks panel in Adobe.
  6. Select the
    Zoom
    drop-down to choose how the page will display when the bookmark is selected.
  7. Select
    Next Page
    to view the next page of the PDF.
  8. Select
    Previous Page
    to view the previous page of the PDF.
  9. Select
    Build Your Own Bookmark Template
    to go to your online portal, where you can create and edit bookmark templates. For
    TicTie Calculate
    version 6, only TTC Managers and System Admins have access to this dashboard.
  10. Select
    Delete All Bookmarks
    to remove all existing bookmarks in Adobe. This step is helpful when working with a new document to ensure pages are not double bookmarked, but is not required.
  11. Select
    Yes
    to confirm that you want all existing bookmarks deleted.
  12. To start bookmarking, select a Bookmark Template from the drop-down. This list contains default templates, as well as any custom templates you have created.
  13. Select
    Apply
    to start using the selected template.
  14. Select the arrow next to a section title to expand it.
  15. Select the arrow again to expand the child bookmark.
  16. Select
    <description>
    to add a custom nested bookmark name for the selected page as needed.
  17. Enter the bookmark name in the
    Bookmark Text
    box.
  18. Select
    Set Bookmark
    to apply the selected bookmark to the page of the PDF displayed in Adobe.
  19. As you work through the document, the bookmark tree in Adobe updates in real time.
  20. Once the desired pages have been bookmarked, select
    Close
    to exit the Set Bookmark Template window.
  21. Select
    Repaginate
    to reorder the pages of the PDF to match the bookmark tree.
  22. Select
    Yes
    to confirm that you want to reorder the PDF.
  23. After repagination, bookmarks and pages can be moved manually in Adobe, or you can use the Bookmark and Repaginate features again.
