Before installing SafeSend Exchange, make sure that your computer and Outlook version meet the supported requirements to help avoid interruptions or errors.
Use the full desktop version of Outlook®. SafeSend Exchange is not compatible with the online or cloud version.
Outlook 2016 or later
Outlook 2016 and Outlook 2019 compatibility depends on the license type in use.
Volume-licensed Outlook 2016 and Outlook 2019 versions are not compatible with SafeSend Exchange because they use Internet Explorer for Office web add-ins.
Retail Outlook 2016 and Outlook 2019 versions can run the add-in because they use Edge instead of Internet Explorer.
