Pull consolidated entity into a report

  1. Go to
    Period Setup
    ,
    Entity Structure
    .
  2. At the group level, select
    Edit
    .
  3. Select
    Consolidated Entity
    .
  4. Select
    Save
    .
  5. Run the report again to view the consolidated entity and the parent entity journals. When you add or make changes to journals in the subsidiary entity, the information will flow into your consolidated entity.
  6. To view the changes, go to
    Reports
    ,
    Entity Structure
    .
  7. Select
    Refresh
    .
  8. Go to
    Journals
     to view the adjustments added to the journals, which is pulled into the current year of the group entity.
    note
    You can unlink entities. This converts the linked entity to a regular entity. If you make updates to this entity, it won't flow into the parent entity. If you want to relink an entity after you've removed the link, you have to delete the entity and re-link again.
