- Go toPeriod Setup,Entity Structure.
- At the group level, selectEdit.
- SelectConsolidated Entity.
- SelectSave.
- Run the report again to view the consolidated entity and the parent entity journals. When you add or make changes to journals in the subsidiary entity, the information will flow into your consolidated entity.
- To view the changes, go toReports,Entity Structure.
- SelectRefresh.
- Go toJournalsto view the adjustments added to the journals, which is pulled into the current year of the group entity.noteYou can unlink entities. This converts the linked entity to a regular entity. If you make updates to this entity, it won't flow into the parent entity. If you want to relink an entity after you've removed the link, you have to delete the entity and re-link again.
