Create templates

Use the Templates screen to create templates within the system and standardize information common across entities. This helps you maintain consistency, make changes, and push them out to all entities based on a template.
note
Creating entities under the Templates screen is used for the purpose of modifying a template and then publishing it as a different template.

Add a template

To create a template entity:
  1. Select +
    Add New Template
    .
  2. Enter the required information, and then
    Save
    .
After you create a new template, you can create a financial period. You can only create 1 financial period under a template.
