Trust information

Distribution information

When creating a binder, you can select if distribution information is available.
Follow these steps to indicate that this is the final year for a trust return:
  1. Initiate creating a new binder.
  2. In the 
    Create New Binder
     window, select the 
    Trust Information
     tab.
    note
    The
    Trust Information
     tab is only available for 1041 Outsource Onshore/Offshore.
    TRUST INFORMATION section
  3. Go to the 
    Select Distribution Information
     section.
    Select Distribution Information section
  4. If the scanned images provide information regarding distribution, select
    Distribution information is included in the scanned image file
    . This will turn off
    Sec.663(b)-(65 day election)
     and
    Distribution Amount
    .
    Select "Distribution information is included in the scanned image file"
  5. If the scanned images don't contain distribution information, select
    Distribution information is provided below
    , then
    Sec.663(b)-(65 day election)
     if needed, and enter the distribution amount in 
    Distribution Amount
    .
    Select "Distribution information is provided below", then "Sec.663(b)-(65 day election)", then enter the distribution amount
