Whitelisting SPbinder in antivirus software
SPbinder creates an encrypted file that some antivirus vendor's Anti-Ransomware features flag as malicious. To prevent this, please create exclusions to your SurePrep's installation path. If your antivirus vendor is blocking SPbinder from launching then please contact your antivirus vendor to learn more about excluding the SPbinder application folder from the list.
Sophos
Sophos Central's CryptoGuard and Sophos Enterprise Console may erroneously block SurePrep applications in some instances, preventing you from creating or opening a binder. Additionally, users may be restricted from adding, editing, and deleting files in the Data Folder path.
