screen let you filter the clients you follow. A view will only show clients that match the currently selected view button, thereby eliminating the need to sift through the entire client list. In many instances Views alleviates the need to visit individual client profiles by presenting the pertinent data on the client tiles.
Predefined views
Each predefined view specializes in presenting client details through its columns. Each of the icons represents a unique predefined view:
Client List
Unread Messages
Questionnaire
Documents Uploaded
Reviewed Documents
Signed Documents
Done Uploading
Binder Created
Tax Return Uploaded
Signed e-file Authorization
Each predefined view has its own unique set of information on the
Overview
screen.

The
Overview
screen column statuses only reflect the default 1040 tax return profile. You wonβt see a status for 1041 tax return profiles.
Client List
To see the list of clients you are currently following, click the
Client List
icon.

The number next to each icon represents the number of clients to that view. Point to the icon to see the tooltip with the Views names.
Clients with the most recent activity are listed first. Clients tiles are organized in the following columns:
Type
- Shows account type (Standard, Offline, or Duplicate)
Client Name
- Shows the client's name.
SP Client ID
- Shows the client's ID.
Owner
- Shows the name of the Tax Professional.
Location
- Shows the Office location.
Done Uploading
- Shows an icon that indicates the status of an uploaded document.
Binder Created
- Shows an icon that indicates if the client has a binder.
Binder Status
- Shows the current binder status.
Custom Field
- Shows the client's ID for your firm's custom field.
Tax Return Uploaded
- An icon indicates an uploaded tax return.
E-file Auth.
- An icon indicates that a request to sign a tax document has been sent to the client.
Last Activity
- Shows the last time there was an activity on the client profile.

You can select any client or icon in to view additional details in the client profile. You can also narrow the client list by using the filter feature for each column.
Unread Messages
To only see clients with unread messages, click the
Unread Messages
icon..
The
Unread Messages
column will display the number of unread messages for each client.
Questionnaire
To only see clients with a questionnaire, click the
Questionnaire
icon
The
Questionnaire
view has 3 additional columns:
Questionnaire
- Shows the progress on the client's questionnaire.
Documents Uploaded
- Shows the number of tax documents uploaded for a client.
Requested Documents
- Shows the number of document requests addressed out of the total requested.
Documents Uploaded
To only see clients with the document uploaded, click the
Documents Uploaded
icon.

view has the same columns as the
Questionnaire

Reviewed Documents
To only see clients that have reviewed a document, click the
Reviewed Document
icon.
The
Reviewed Documents
column will display the number of documents reviewed by the client out of the total documents requested. To see details in the client profile, click the
Reviewed Documents
icon.
Signed Documents
To only see clients that have signed a document, click the
Signed Document
icon.
The

column will display the number of documents signed by the client out of the total documents requested. To see details in the client profile, click the
Signed Documents

To only see clients who have or whose tax professionals have indicated that they're done uploading tax documents, click the
Done Uploading
icon. The
Done Uploading
view has the same three new columns as the Questionnaire view, with an additional
Date
column.
The
Date
column will display the date when the client marked upload as complete.
An exclamation point in the
Done Uploading
icon indicates the
New Documents Uploaded
status, meaning that either their tax professional has selected this status in their profile, or they have uploaded a document after selecting
Done Uploading
.

Your clients will have the ability to see and use the Done Uploading button under the following conditions:
- Have at least one document uploaded in the currently selected tax year.
- The selected tax year is not the current calendar year (i.e appears once the tax year is applicable for filing).
- The "Done Uploading" status is "Not Done Uploading".

to view clients with created binders. The
Binder

Binder ID

The
Binder ID
column shows the ID for the created binder. The
Documents In Binder
column shows how many documents have been selected to be in the binder.
Tax Return Uploaded
To only see clients that have a Tax Return uploaded, click the
Tax Return Uploaded
icon.
To only see clients that have at least one e-file authorization request, select
Signed e-file Authorization
.

This view will be disabled until you request an e-file authorization from at least one client.
Each icon indicates a different status:
E-File Authorization
Client has one or more requested E-File signatures pending.
Manual signature required
Client has failed to fulfill their E-File authorization request.
E-file authorization signed
Client has fulfilled all pending E-File signature requests.
Filter
You can filter clients in each view by setting parameters on individual columns.
Export to Excel
The
Export to Excel
feature in the
Overview
screen lets you export clients you are following on the Overview screen to an Excel file. The preset view you have currently selected can impact the exported client list when you export from the
