Activate users

The User Activation and Forgot Password pages are accessible only via the link provided in the email sent to the user. We send the activation email to you after your firm adds you as a user to SurePrep services.
Follow these steps to activate a user account. 
  1. You will receive an
    SurePrep User Activation/Forgot Password
    email from
    NOREPLY@sureprep.com
    . In the email, select
    User Activation/Forgot Password
    .  
  2. In the User Activation window, enter a new password and then verify the password. 
  3. Enter the same password again to verify the password.
  4. If your password and confirmation don't match, you'll receive a warning. In that case, re-enter your password and confirmation password.
  5. Select security questions and enter answers to each.
    Use these 5 unique questions and answers to assist you if you forget your password. You can reset your password by answering any 3 out of 5 randomly asked secret questions.
  6. Select
    Activate User
    .
  7. A success message appears. Select
    Continue to Login Page
    to sign in.

Password requirements

  • A password must be between 10 and 12 characters long.
  • A password must have a number, a capital letter, a lowercase letter, and a special character. (Passwords are case-sensitive.)
  • A password must have one of the following special characters: !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (,), _, or +.
  • A password can't include white space or any of the following ASCII characters: ©€ ƒ ¥ v ? ? ? ? ½ a ß ? © ® ? § ? ˜ ¶ ¢ £ ¤ « ¬ µ Ã Ä Å Æ Ç Õ æ þ ÿ ™.
  • A password can't contain the sign in name.
  • A password can't be blank.
