IND-667-02 e-file error
If the Spouse SSN appears more than once in the e-File database, then 'PINTypeCd' must not have the value "Self-Select Practitioner". (value, rule IND-667-02)
You'll get this error if the spouse can't use a self-select PIN for the filing year.
Solution
Either file the return on paper, or use the Practitioner PIN method to file electronically.
To use the Practitioner PIN method:
- Turn on the Practitioner PIN method.
- Go to the Electronic Filing folder.
- Select thePINscreen.
- Clear theSelf-Select PINfield
- Recreate and retransmit the e-file.
