Use this screen to begin integration with UltraTax CS, SurePrep, and SafeSend.

SurePrep integration

Select Firm ID
This button lets you select your specific SurePrep Firm ID menu, to establish the connection between UltraTax CS and SurePrep. Once selected, this enables the integration workflow where you can access Tax automation features directly from within UltraTax CS.

SafeSend integration

Turn on Safe Send integration
This primary checkbox turns on the integration between UltraTax CS and SafeSend, letting electronic document delivery and eSignature capabilities. When enabled, this integration streamlines the client communication process by connecting Ultra Tax directly to SafeSend's secure document delivery platform.

When printing the return, automatically deliver the client copy to SafeSend
This automation feature determines the workflow path after return preparation. When checked, it directs the system to

, automatically delivering the client copy to SafeSend during the printing process. When cleared, the system follows the standard

workflow. This setting streamlines the delivery process by eliminating manual steps in getting complete returns to clients for review and signature.
Queue electronic files for transmission when sending returns to SafeSend for eSignature (requires creation of e-files when printing)
This feature applies to all clients. The automation feature lets the e-file be manually or automatically released by SafeSend and transmitted to Connect after the eSignature process has been completed.
