Turn on ActiveSync with Virtual Office CS or SaaS Outlook
Turn on Microsoft ActiveSync for NetStaff CS to give staff wireless access to their Microsoft Outlook calendar, contacts, tasks, and email on their mobile device.

ActiveSync constantly updates Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) Outlook information. For example, if a staff member adds a contact in Virtual Office CS or SaaS Outlook, the contact is also added to their mobile device.
ActiveSync is billable (some exceptions may apply).

Before you turn on ActiveSync for a NetStaff CS user, make sure:
Your firm is licensed for Virtual Office CS or SaaS Microsoft Exchange.
The NetStaff CS user has a Microsoft Exchange mailbox.
The NetStaff CS user has a compatible mobile device that runs Windows Mobile 5.0 or later. For Android devices, the device needs to sync with a Microsoft Exchange server and the data plan needs to supports syncing with an Exchange server. For Windows Mobile devices, the device needs to be able to run Windows Mobile 5.0 or later.
Select the
Admin
tab in the navigation pane, then
Users
in the NetStaff CS section.

If
Users
isn't available, you don't have access to this area.
In the Users pane, enter part of the user's name or login in the
Find
field, then select their name.

Clear the
Find
field to display the full list of users.
Select
Enable
for ActiveSync in the Settings section.

is available only after you turn on Microsoft Exchange for the user, and a Thomson Reuters Virtual Office CS or SaaS administrator completes the account setup, which takes 3 to 5 business days.

NetFirm CS will send an activation email explaining how to prepare the device for activation and instructions.

NetFirm CS sends the message to the email address entered for the user in the
Primary Email Address
field of the Virtual Office CS or SaaS Microsoft Exchange Settings window.
