Resize columns and rows

You can adjust the width of columns and the height of rows in Report Designer.

Adjust the column width

You can adjust the column width 2 ways:
Enter a new column width manually.
  1. Select the column header.
  2. Select
    Format
    ,
    Column
    , then
    Width
    .
    note
    You can also right-click the column header then select
    Column Width
    .
  3. Enter a new number for the column width then select
    OK
    .
Drag and drop the column size.
  1. Hover your pointer between columns.
  2. Drag the column border and drop it where you want it.

Adjust the row height

You can also adjust the row height the same 2 ways:
Enter the row height manually.
  1. Select the row header.
  2. Select
    Format
    ,
    Row
    , then
    Height
    .
    note
    You can also right-click the row then select
    Row Height
    .
  3. Enter a new number for the row height then select
    OK
    .
Drag and drop the row size.
  1. Hover your pointer between rows.
  2. Drag the row border and drop it where you want it.
important
A row will be blank if the text size in the row is larger than the row height. To resize the row and view its contents, select a cell in the blank row and then adjust the height to be larger than the contents of the cells.
