Becky Halat serves on Thomson Reuters’ client services team, helping law firms to understand market data from the Sharplegal survey housed in the Market Insights platform. Becky uses data to evaluate market opportunities, analyze competitor positions, and observe shifting trends. Her primary goal is to use data to identify actionable takeaways for firms that lead to more successful business development opportunities. Further, Becky advises on talent data to support lawyer retention.
Before joining Thomson Reuters, Becky worked in market research in the human resources space, focused on employee sentiment and wellbeing. Becky also brings experience conducting research with a product development focus to understand the needs of users across the value chain. She holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota in French literature and a bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University in psychology.
