At any stage of the document lifecycle, users can attach additional documents to the Contract Express Document by uploading them with the document details page. To enable this option, you need to:
Additional documents also can be sent for eSignature along with the Contract Express generated documents.
Contract Express supports any file format that can be signed electronically. Although Contract Express itself does not impose restrictions on the file size of the uploaded documents, it is highly recommended not to exceed the limitation of 25 Mb for a single file due to eSignature platform limitations (for more details see the appropriate eSignature documentation). Also, see eSigning documents for more information about electronic signature of documents.
To upload additional documents:
Click
Attach file
in the
Documents
section on the document details page.
Drag and drop or browse for the required documents.
Click
Upload
.
Uploaded documents will be added in the Documents section of the Document details page.
Contract Express supports version control for the uploaded documents. To upload an updated version of the document you can either:
Upload an updated version of the document
with the same name
using
Attach document
button.
Use the button found in the row of the document to be updated, and select
Upload new version
. In this case you can upload a document
with any name
and it will be treated as the next version of the corresponding document.
To view the versions of the uploaded additional document, select button, and select
View versions
. In the opened panel, you can download any version of the document.
You can delete the uploaded additional documents, if they are not yet signed or sent for signature. To delete an additional document, click , and then select
