Data search in Questionnaire
Searching Companies House data
Where enabled for the template, it is possible to import the data of a company from Companies House into the Questionnaire. See Enabling company search in the template for more information.
Locate and click on the
Search Companies House

This will display modal with a search field where you can search by the company name or registered number. The search result will list all the companies in Companies House that match your search.
note
Search results that are greyed out are not available to be imported into the Questionnaire due to restrictions set within the template.

To import a company, either click on the company name or click on the information icon for that company to display the company information. Here you can see information about the company stored in Companies House along with the appointments assigned to the company. By default, these appointments will be imported along with the company but this can be changed by deselecting the unnecessary appointments.

If you are happy to import the selected company, click the
Select
button and the company will be imported into the questionnaire.Searching Dutch Chamber of Commerce data
Where enabled for the Template, it is possible to import the data of a company from the Dutch Chamber of Commerce into the questionnaire. To do this, locate and click on the Search Company button. See Enabling company search in the template for more information.

This will display modal with a search field where you can search by the company name or registered number (KvK number). The search result will list all the companies in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce that match your search.

To import a company, either click on the company name or click on the information icon for that company to display the company information. Here you can see information about the company stored in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

If you are happy to import the selected company, click the select button and the company will be imported into the questionnaire.
Post Code search
Where enabled for the Template, it is possible to search for an address and import the address into the questionnaire. Note that this feature is only applicable for UK post codes. Locate and click on the “Search Post Code” button. see Enabling address search in the template for more information.

This will display a modal with a search field where you can search using partial address details or full/partial postcodes. You can select an entry from the search results to import the address. If you are searching using a partial postcode, you will need to drill down through the search results until you reach the required address. The results also include additional details such as
Department
, Company
, and Type

Questionnaire user search
Where enabled on the Template, it is possible to search for other Contract Express users and import their details into the questionnaire. To do this, locate and click on the “Search User” button. see Enabling the template to search for users for more information.

This will display modal with a search field where you can search for a user by their user ID. You can enter the full or partial user ID. Select an entry in the search result and click Select to import the user.
