What's new in Contract Express 11

Author Desktop

Set minimum and maximum selections on multi-select questions
Template authors can now specify the minimum and maximum number of options a user must select from a multi-select list question, in both Contract Express and Author Desktop, providing finer control over questionnaire validation.

eSignature anchors can now carry recipient name and role
E-signature anchor fields in template wording can now optionally include the recipient's name and role, not just their email, directly within the anchor syntax.

Documents

Easier navigation to user documents
(standalone Contract Express only)
Admins can now search for a user by name on the admin users page, and jump directly to that user's "My documents" folder from their details drawer, instead of browsing through shared documents folders to find it.

Introducing a new English locale for Indian currency handling
Supporting the Indian currency requirements with a new English language locale for India.

Author Online

Usability improvements
Several usability improvements were made to Author Online's Markup and Advanced mode tools, including:
  • easier access to the insert field and insert span controls,
  • a simplified way to delete spans and fields, and
  • clearer help text for working with expressions.

Platform and security enhancements

This release includes several backend improvements, including an update to the Contract Express Identity Server,
an upgrade to .NET 10
, and additional encryption and security hardening across the platform.
