FTA: Core Materials

The
Core Materials
 screen is a USMCA-specific screen that you can use to manage Super Core BOMs. Super Core BOMs can be used to identify core parts for light duty vehicles (which is managed on the screen by users) and pull the core parts from light duty vehicle BOMs into a singular qualification of all core parts.
This screen can be used to help light duty vehicle manufacturers use the
super core
 qualification method to qualify all core parts almost like a new averaging category. This method would be used since the new regulations require that all core materials qualify as originating, otherwise the light duty vehicle will not qualify.
This screen can be accessed by selecting
Core Materials
 from the
FTA
 menu at the top of the screen.

  • Supercore BOM Parts
