Workarea actions with D2C

To set up a Determination to Compliance (D2C) merge in Sales and Use Tax Compliance:
  1. Go to
    Workarea
    ,
    D2C Tax Merge
    ,
    New Merge
    , and then
    D2C Tax Merge
    .
  2. Create or select a merge template.
  3. Select compliance attributes for the merge.
  4. Select your parameters for workarea name, dates, filing period, and binder selection.
  5. For Date Type:
    1. Transaction Date
      - The date range is based on the date the tax calculation occurred for the document/invoice.
    2. Fiscal Date
      - The date ranges is based on fiscal dates indicated by each transaction.
    3. Invoice Date
      - The date range is based on the document dates.
  6. Select compliance option parameter for the merge.
  7. Select the charts and method for
    Place Code Determination
    .
  8. Select the merged company or companies. The companies available are the ones you have permissions for in both systems.
    note
    You can run a merge for multiple companies at the same time.
  9. Select the region.
  10. Select
    Merge
    . After the merge completes, you can either export extract log, rollback merge, or export error log (in the case your merge has errors). You can also view your data in Journal Views.
