File a message thread to tax documents

Follow these steps to file a message thread to tax document:
  1. Sign in to TaxCaddy and go to the client's profile by selecting a client tile on the
    Overview
    screen.
    Select a client profile from the Overview screen
  2. Select
    Messages
    .
    Select Messages
  3. To file individual message threads to 
    Tax Documents
    , select
    FILE TO TAX DOCUMENTS
    .
    note
    The message thread will be archived in its current state. To file a message thread with any new messages, select
    File to Tax Documents
    .
    Select FILE TO TAX DOCUMENTS
  4. When the
    Confirm File to Tax Documents
    window appears, select
    CONTINUE
    .
    Select CONTINUE
    A success message will appear once the message thread has been successfully saved in its current state.
    Notification of a successful print
    The archived message thread will appear on the
    Documents
    screen, in the 
    Uploaded Documents
    tab.
    Messages section in the Uploaded Documents tab
Message threads uploaded to a binder appear in the
Other Information
folder in the
INDEX TREE
tab.
