Saffronizing our experience

We continue our trek in aligning with our Saffron design system. In this release we:
  • Updated the back-end Saffron version to 25.5.0
  • Applied Saffron styling to the "email article" and "copy link" features.
  • Applied Saffron styling to the "Applicability" section on the Terms and Conditions micro experience and addressed styling issues in other areas of this micro experience.
  • Applied Saffron styling to the article pages using the "topnav" template. Check out this example!

In-app help (IPX)

  • We built an in-app help experience for Virtual Office CS, which we'll hand-off to our Product Team to include in an upcoming release. This positively affects end-users of NetStaff CS and NetClient CS. Before launching applications, end-users can get to help and support and other resources quicker by use of the help menu without having to leave the product!
  • We updated the back-end parameters for the search box in each IPX for better analytics reporting.

Internal agent experience

We added support for internal articles to be listed on certain types of pages in Help and Support. With this release, we can now publish internal content and have it be visible just to the intended audiences!
We also added a loader component to show after an internal agent has authenticated and while they're being redirected to the page they were trying to access (instead of staring at a blank screen!).

Form and e-file approval status in UltraTax CS

We improved the performance of the pagination options below the table of results on the UltraTax CS forms approval micro experience, and we adjusted the alignment of the search options checkboxes.

Small but noteworthy items

  • We removed the option to download a video embedded on an article page to prevent unwanted distribution of our content.
  • We added the ability to have a preview image show when a Help and Support link is shared.
  • We adjusted the spacing between lines of text inside of a note to match the spacing between lines elsewhere in the article page.
  • Cleaned up back-end file organization to make it faster for authors to find and update article content.
  • We addressed some technical debt.
  • We updated the back-end information for Salesforce live chat to keep that connection working.
  • We addressed some accessibility and styling issues with the "back to top" button.
