Browse micro experience

As we continue our journey in delivering internal content to our Customer Service and Support agents, we can now include internal content in Help and Support's browse micro experiences so internal end-users can receive all content (external + internal) within the browse page.
note
We still have a bit more work to complete before we can publish internal content to Help and Support. We're close!

In-app help (IPX)

  • We built an in-app help experience for the Organizer screens, which we'll hand-off to our Product Teams to include in an upcoming release for Organizer. This positively affects end-users of GoSystem Tax RS, ONESOURCE Income Tax, and ONESOURCE Income Tax Express RS. When preparing returns and completing data entry in the Organizer screens, end-users can get to help and support and other resources quicker by use of the help menu without having to leave the product and without having to sign in again!
  • Ability to delivery custom help icons for integration with products across TR. Product Teams can now style the help icon or menu to match the product user interface (UI).

Search

In our Alerts and notices and file download micro experiences, the search field now searches all data in the table. Previously, only the 1st and 3rd columns were searchable.

Saffronizing our experience

We continue our trek in aligning with our Saffron design system. In this release we updated our Terms and Conditions micro experience with Saffron styling.
note
Saffron's a system of design standards and reusable elements to help us build user experiences that look, feel, and behave more consistently. This helps Thomson Reuters look unified across our digital experiences and products.

UI styling of content

It's important to style the look and feel of our content for improved readability and scannability.
We styled these authoring elements:
  • <userinput>
This element represents the text an end-user should input in response to our written instruction. The text an end-user should enter will now appear in bold typeface.
  • <wintitle>
This element is the name of a product UI's window or dialog. These titles will now appear in bold typeface.
