We have three offices in Toronto, including our headquarters located on Bay Street, in the heart of the city’s Financial District! 1. The location and the view

Two of our offices are located in downtown Toronto, both a short walk from Union Station, which makes it a perfect location for commuters. From either building, you have amazing views of downtown Toronto, especially from the Tech Centre on Bremner where you can see CN Tower, the Rogers Centre, and Lake Ontario.

5. Free snacks

Our office is connected to the PATH, an underground shopping centre, which is great all times of the year. If it’s too humid and AC is preferred, or too cold and you want to stay warm, our employees enjoy being able to walk downtown, underground.

8. The Toronto Technology Centre

The Thomson Reuters Toronto Technology Centre is made up of a team of scientists, engineers and designers focusing on the development of smart applications by applying and extending state of the art in natural language processing, machine learning, deep learning, information retrieval, knowledge representation and reasoning, data mining, text analytics and human-computer interactions. In 2021, we’ll be moving our Toronto Technology Centre to Duncan Street and our office will feature a collaborative workplace environment designed to promote employee health and wellbeing. It will feature both formal and informal workspaces designed to enable a variety of working styles, supported by state-of-the-art technology, breakout spaces, exterior terraces and food service. The Centre’s amenities will include a café, health club, bicycle room and on-site concierge services.

9. TR Labs and our partnership with the University of Waterloo

In 2015, not far from Toronto, we opened our Waterloo Data and Innovation Lab, located in Communitech, an accelerator in the heart of the region's startup ecosystem. The Lab works closely with the University of Waterloo on research and leverages the school’s elite coop program to bring new ideas and new ways of thinking.
