Mark Dangelo is the founder of AXTent, a firm advancing next-generation data architectures, AI-driven transformation, and enterprise data modernization. His work bridges strategy, regulation, and capital, helping organizations translate emerging data and compliance frameworks — such as the Financial Data Transparency Act (FDTA) and Standard Business Reporting (SBR) — into practical innovation and measurable results.
With experience leading restructurings, M&A integrations, and data transformations across more than 20 countries, Mark brings a unique blend of operational insight and forward-looking design to how firms manage, govern, and mobilize information.
He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Design and Innovation at Case Western Reserve University, is the author of five books on M&A and transformative innovation, and has been a 22-year columnist for the National Mortgage Bankers Association in Washington, D.C. His recent research and advisory work explore how AI, data fabrics, and regulatory interoperability can reshape compliance, finance, and investment ecosystems.
