Shaun Hunley is an author and executive editor for Checkpoint and has been with Thomson Reuters for more than nine years. His articles can be found in Accounting Today, Forbes, and PPC’s Practitioners Tax Action Bulletins. Also, Shaun has been quoted extensively in several publications on cryptocurrency tax issues.
Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Shaun spent mor ethan 10 years with national accounting firms. Early in his career, Shaun led research and development tax incentive studies for Fortune 500 companies. Following this, he specialized in tax due diligence, corporate restructurings, and international tax compliance and planning. Shaun also has extensive experience in advising small businesses and closely held companies on a variety of tax matters.
Shaun received a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
