September brings CoCounsel Legal even closer to the places where legal teams already keep their work. This month’s releases center on three themes: agentic intelligence and content that extends what CoCounsel Legal knows and where it can research; workspaces and knowledge that make it easier to organize and track matters at scale; experience and workflows that meet lawyers in the tools they already use; and trust and connectivity that gives enterprises more control over how CoCounsel Legal connects to their systems. Agentic Intelligence & Content
Global Research Menu expands global content coverage within classic CoCounsel Legal (US, UK, Canada, EU, and Australia)
The Global Research Menu is a single entry point for cross-border research. Select a jurisdiction from the Research tab, and CoCounsel Legal automatically routes you to the right research path, Westlaw Deep Research or International Legal Research. With this release, International Legal Research now covers 44 jurisdictions, up from 22, backed by the same official, vetted sources. For select subscribers, Practical Law Deep Research is now available directly in the menu, drawing from trusted how-to guidance and model documents from across more than 100 jurisdictions and 14 global practice areas.
Deal term benchmarking from Noetica, inside CoCounsel Legal (US)
Corporate legal and dealmaking teams can now access Noetica’s deal term benchmarking directly within CoCounsel Legal. Benchmarking data sits alongside other CoCounsel Legal tools, so lawyers can ground a negotiation or a drafting decision in market data without switching to a separate system. This is the first phase of the integration, now live in the CoCounsel Legal web application.
Reuters news in CoCounsel Legal (US, UK, Canada)
Reuters News provides new content into CoCounsel Legal that lets lawyers pull breaking news and legal-industry updates directly into their research conversation – no separate lookup required.
Experience & Workflows
CoCounsel Legal agent now available in Word (US)
CoCounsel Legal customers can now access the next-generation CoCounsel Legal agent directly within Word. The experience matches the web version, with enhanced access to Westlaw, KeyCite, and Practical Law content, so drafting can happen in the same document where lawyers already work.
Prompt Library (US, UK, Canada, and Australia)
A new Prompt Library lets users save their best prompts once and reuse them anywhere in CoCounsel Legal. Favorited prompts are easy to find and can be dropped straight into the next chat, removing the need to dig through old conversations or copy from a separate document.
Download chat transcripts (US)
Users can now export full chat transcripts, including any generated artifacts, making it easier to keep records or share a conversation outside the platform.
A refreshed look for Practical Law US (US)
Practical Law US has a new, modernized interface. on Practical Law is now front and center and available from any page. A customizable homepage lets users choose what appears when they sign in, and a new browse menu lets users jump to any page from anywhere on the site.
Workspaces & Knowledge
Upload and store up to 10,000 files in a workspace (US)
CoCounsel Legal users can now upload and manage up to 10,000 files within a single workspace, making it easier to keep large, document-heavy matters organized and accessible in one place.

Client IDs for workspaces, for cleaner billing and reporting (US)
CoCounsel Legal workspaces can now be tagged with client IDs. Search and analytics include client ID as well, helping firms track usage across matters and improve the accuracy of client billing and reporting.
