Jim Paille, director of operations for myPay Solutions at Thomson Reuters, is the new president-elect of the American Payroll Association.

APA members elected Paille to a three-year term during the organization’s 33rd Annual Congress in Las Vegas this week. The APA, with more than 20,000 members, is the nation's leader in payroll education, advocacy, and publications.

“I’m honored to be named president-elect of an organization dedicated to the success of the nation’s payroll professionals,” Paille said.

Paille has been an APA member since the organization was established in 1982 and has served on the APA Board of Directors for more than 10 years. At Thomson Reuters, he directs myPay Solutions, which partners with accounting firms to provide payroll processing services for small and mid-size businesses. MyPay Solutions is part of the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters.
